If you like Hainanese Cuisine, then this is one place where you can get a late night, traditional Hainanese Pork Chops with a beer and ESPN. Probably the only Irish Hainanese Pub/Cafe in Singapore! The Pork Chops are done traditional style with crispy pork chop and a zesty tomato based sauce. Would have liked my chops a little thicker and juicier but this is the traditional way that Hainanese Pork Chops are prepared.

I want to thank ALL THOSE WHO CAME FOR THE LUNCH. Yes, and those who didn't come, no point mentioning. Special thanks to Claris (she asked me to write her name here, HAHA) who came despite having to go for SPH interview at 2.15pm. Yup, so thank you Claris!

Here's a joke to brighten up your day!

A fleeing Taliban, desperate for water, was trudging through the Afghanistan desert when he saw something far off in the distance. Hoping to find water, he hurried towards it, only to find a little old Jewish man at a small stand selling ties.

Time for another joke! This is just plain dumb..

The Circle
A blonde had just gotten a new sports car and was out for a drive when she accidentally cut off a large truck. The driver was outraged and was eventually able to make her pull over. He got out of his truck and pulled a piece of chalk from his pocket.

He drew a circle on the side of the road and gruffly commanded to the blonde in his most threatening voice, "Stand in that circle and DON'T MOVE!"

He then went to her car and cut up her leather seats.

When he turned around she had a slight grin on her face, so he said, "Oh you think that's funny? Watch this!"

He gets a baseball bat out of his truck and breaks every window in her car.

When he turns and looks at her she has a smile on her face.

Now he's getting really mad. He gets his knife back out and slices all her tires.

Now she's laughing.

The truck driver is really starting to lose it.

He goes back to his truck and gets an extra can of diesel fuel, pours it on her car and sets it on fire.

He turns around and she is laughing so hard she is about to fall down.

"What's so funny?" the truck driver asked the blonde.

Magical Wish

One day, down in the mystical forest, a magical frog was hopping towards a water hole. The forest was so enormous that the frog had never laid eyes on another animal before. But today, by chance a bear was chasing after a rabbit to have for dinner.

And so, it's over! The hectic BBQ that we had.

Firstly, I have to thank those who came. Thanks for taking out time to come and have some bonding session together. Well, I know the BBQ wasn't much, but I hope those who came enjoyed it.

The rain indeed kinda spoilt our mood and we couldn't start the fire at 6 plus. But nonetheless, we managed to start it at 7 plus. So we got to eat the BBQ food we prepared. haha.

And after eating, we played silly games.. Silly games not like stupid but simple and fun kind okay? haha. Well, you people did more than I did. haha. But point is, I'm glad you people enjoyed yourselves playing those games! haha.

I was quite disappointed by the amount of people though. I really really hope the next gathering we have will invite even more people to come. Hopefully, the whole class PLUS the teachers alright? Look forward to the next gathering/chalet okay? (:

Problem now is the day/date. I was thinking to book the chalet in between
5th December to 15th December.

Who CANNOT make it between that period?

Umm, based on response, more people want aloha. So I'm making some calculations based on aloha chalet rates and etc etc. Read on to find out approximately one has to pay.

I'm sad to say that this period is SUPER-PEAK. I've checked.
Or you can refer to the picture above to see.
Which means it is $230 per day.

Each person will have to pay $9.20 for ONE day. NOT including the food for BBQ.
And obviously there will be staying over. So let's say TWO days ONE night.
Each person will have to pay $18.40. Still NOT including the food for BBQ.

Let's say $150 is spent for the BBQ food. Each person have to pay $6 more.
So in total, each person will pay about $25 that is if EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US GO.

That means if there are 25 people going, we each have to pay $25.

Blahblahblah, give you guys some details about aloha.

Needless to say, the Garden Terraces are the cheapest. So the above calculation was based on Garden Terraces rates as well. And so if we go aloha, take note where the Garden Terraces are situated at. Don't get lost. Cos I've not been there before. lol.

OH OH.

And look at the map and see which terrace you want! As in...
Cos the Garden Terraces are labelled A to J. Though the map doesn't say which is A, which is J, etc, but you can just like tell me whether you want the corner one, the middle one, the what one. Or you can count the terraces and like say three from the start of the 'C'. 'C' meaning the layout of all the terraces. Just refer to the map. Still don't get it, then nevermind.

Some facilities in the Garden Terraces:

Single storey unit
Sheltered pavilions around the BBQ areas
Living room set with TV & games table
Dining area
2 air-conditioned bedrooms with 6 single beds (2 single beds and 2 double-deck beds)
2 toilets / bath with shower heater

Chalet Problems

Okay, okay, okay.

We've got some problems at hand for the chalet. READ FINISH THE WHOLE POST K.

Problems:
(1) I don't know who is coming and who is not coming.
(2) The above problem resulted from the fact that I cannot confirm the date for the chalet.
(3) I don't know what chalet to book.
(4) I have no idea at all how much is the total cost and how much you guys are willing to pay.
(5) This is related to what I am going to say later, so please read on to find out. Anyway, I don't know who wants to stay over.

So if you all are kind enough, please help me out.

First thing you can do is tell me whether you're free in your holidays. Like, whether you're going for holiday, if you have camps or other things on. Sandcastle and OBM are obvious, I won't book the chalet from 1st Nov to 18 Nov. So you all can just tell me when you're free or not free AFTER the 18th of Nov.

Then you can tell me WHICH CHALET you guys want. It's either the bigger and more facilities but more expensive ALOHA, or the normal and you guys have been to before PASIR RIS COSTA SANDS. Sorry, but east coast park is not really appealing as compared to the others, so it's not any of the choices.

If can, tell me your budget so maybe I can calculate some things out. Then I can find out how much exactly you people need to pay. Blahblahblah. If people have membership card for aloha, costa sands, whatever, please let me know so I can borrow.

If response is quite celebrated, then GOOD. Otherwise I have to go for PLAN B.

Plan B is where we just book a BBQ pit from somebody's condo or sth then we just have BBQ and no chalet. Then those who want to stay over, if possible, we go to someone's house to stay over. Precisely this links to problem (5). If A LOT of people want to stay over, we can't go with this plan. But if only a few people want to stay over like last year, then we can go with this plan B, I hope. In case you're worrying, Yanting has kindly said that she don't mind booking her condo's BBQ pit for our class. I'm not saying where is her condo yet, until I confirm we're going with plan B. So yeah. It's for her privacy, though I never really asked her... NEVERMIND.

So, PLEASE DO ME A FAVOUR, and do the above things I asked you to do.
Be it tag/sms/email/whatever, just let me know what I wanna know. Yeah.

If not, we can just forget about the whole thing.
If that is the case, sorry to the people who wanted the chalet.
So it just depends on you guys.

This blonde decides one day that she is sick and tired of all these blonde jokes and how all blondes are perceived as stupid, so she decides to show her husband that blondes really are smart. While her husband is off at work, she decides that she is going to paint a couple of rooms in the house.

The next day, right after her husband leaves for work, she gets down to the task at hand.

Her husband arrives home at 5:30 and smells the distinctive smell of paint. He walks into the living room and finds his wife lying on the floor in a pool of sweat. He notices that she is wearing a ski jacket and a fur coat at the same time.

But I have to say the design on the back is slightly different. Cos the watermark you guys see on the com has a gradient. Then if print gradient, it'll be even more expensive. So it's slightly different. I'm so sorry.

this is a sample of the shirts from http://www.class-t-shirt.com, and this is the supplier we are most probably going to use for the class tee. (unless someone can recommend a better supplier) the thing is the blue looks pretty gay... ok its just my opinion but the main issue is that since we have a picture here you guys can visualise how the class tee colour scheme is going to be like. so if anyone has second thoughts about light blue.... well the tagboard's all yours.

Another joke again!

I deserve a first class seat

A blonde gets on an airplane and sits down in the first class section of the plane. The stewardess rushes over to her and tells her she must move to coach because she doesn't have a first class ticket.

The blonde replies, "I'm blonde, I'm smart, I have a good job, and I'm staying in first class until we reach Jamaica."

The disgusted stewardess gets the head stewardess who asks the blonde to leave.

The head stewardesses doesn't even know what to do at this point because they still have to get the rest of the passengers seated to take off; the blode is causing a problem with boarding now, so the stewardess gets the copilot.

The copilot goes up to the blonde and whispers in her ear. She immediately gets up and goes to her seat in the coach section. The head stewardess asks the copilot in amazement what he said to get her to move to her correct seat.

The copilot replies, "I told her the front half of the airplane wasn't going to Jamaica."

There once was a rich man who was near death. He was very grieved because he had worked so hard for his money and he wanted to be able to take it with him to heaven. So he began to pray that he might be able to take some of his wealth with him.

CHALET ENDED! I hope all of you (except the three who didn't come) enjoyed the chalet! haha. I'm sorry, but JOEL, you haven't paid me yet. lol.

Anyway, this is just a short note to say thank you, all of you, for being there as the last time the whole class will be together. You guys have been great all year round. The thought that some of us may have to separate is appaling. But we chose our own roads and we have to continue walking this road by ourselves.

Well, not say that we won't be keeping in touch anymore. Probably next year end we'll have another chalet or something? haha. We'll see how. But in the mean time, jiayou for everything. And continue to strive on in TA2!

The total price of the chalet is $198. Which is like $7.92 for one person IF everybody goes. So now the thing is WHO IS GOING? I need replies asap. So I can get the FOOD. Oh and in case you didn't get it, $7.92 does NOT include the food money. So maybe one person have to pay $15. I think less than $15 will do.

lol. It has been some time since I blogged calling you guys that. haha.

It was great knowing you guys this past year. Well, holidays are here and it kinda mean that we're getting disbanded. In a way. (Pardon my terrible english lah.) SO. All of us will probably go different classes and some lucky ones will get to be in the same class as some of us. AIYAH. You get what I mean lah. It's pretty simple to understand. haha.

The main thing is that, though we may not be in the same class anymore, BUT we must still be GOOD FRIENDS K! It's not as if we won't be seeing each other anymore. haha. Come'on. All of us will still be in TA and we'll still see each other almost every day. Still, I think I'll miss you guys. As a class I mean. Oh well.

according to the school, we're suppose to be designing a poster in conjunction with some anti-drug thing. so you all will have to brainstorm for ideas. we'll deco that stupid black board that i've been carrying around during one of the civics lesson. hopefully, it would work. anyway, the following is the needed info for the class. Hey people, so is the trip to Night Safari confirmed? Anyway, I've decided to go check up the stuff if we're going for the trip.

Firstly, night safari opens at 6pm and closes at 12mn.
Isn't that nice? We can stay as late as possible!!!

Our ticket charges are at $20.00.

Obviously we can go somewhere like near the east coast after morning class outing or we can go to night safari there the restaurant. BUT sadly, it is under RENOVATION. haha. BUT again, beside night safari, there is another restaurant.

Seriously, it'll be a big risk going there. Cos I have no idea at all what are the prices. So I think it's be SUPER EXPENSIVE. Oh well, but if you guys wanna go, I don't mind. haha.

Righto, now for the worst...
Saving the worst for the last, now that's uncommon!
How do we get there???
Haii, the worst problemo of all. haha. Well, I don't know any routes, but I found some routes. haha. The thing is though we have the route, can we be sure that we won't get lost? haha. And, it takes FOREVER to get there. So sad right. haha. So if we are to reach there by 7pm (so we won't stay too late, some of you may get scolding or whatever, just in case yah), then we probably need to leave from the city at 5pm. Yeah.
Here's the routes:
ONE
From the city, we take bus 171 to Mandai Road.
We will alight at the first bus stop and change bus to 927.
Whole bus trip takes about 1 hr 30 mins.
TWO
From Ang Mo Kio MRT (it seems like we're merry-go-rounding), we take bus 138.
Then at Choa Chu Kang MRT (we've toured the whole of singapore!), we take bus 927.
Which means we'll be landing at the same stop from the above bus route.
THREE
There's this service ride, which cost $4, for both go there and come back.
Buses will pick us up at HOTELS.
Various Hotels are:
Orchard / DFS Galleria / Sheraton Towers / Grand Hyatt / Le Meridian / Rendezvous / Claremont
But the time will be a bit late. The bus ride time ranges from 6.30pm to 7.10pm.
So by the time we reach there, some of us may have to go already. That's why I think it's not quite feasible.
Oh well, again, it depends on you guys lah...

Right. It's June Holidays now. And sadly, already the 2nd week. And I haven't done anything yet. Aren't I pro or what? haha. So how are you guys man? Having fun in the hols? I'm seriously missing you guys SO MUCH. But I doubt anybody will read this anyway. This blog is SO DEAD. Oh well. haha. Can't help it. Anyway, I've changed skin! Okay, it's practically the same skin but I decorated it in a different way. haha. And I've rearranged few of the stuff. haha. Isn't it nice?? haha. I'm kinda crazy lah. Who cares?
